Time Audit Spreadsheet

If your week fills up before you get to the work that matters, start by finding out where the time actually goes.

This free spreadsheet gives you two weeks to track your work. Use it to spot recurring tasks, interruptions, and responsibilities that could move off your plate.

How to use your time audit

  1. Track what you actually do for two weeks, including the small tasks between appointments.
  2. Review where your time went. Which work needs you, and which work could your team own?
  3. Choose one task to delegate, simplify, or stop. Then decide what you want to do with the time you get back.

The goal is a firm that supports your life. More available time only helps if you choose how to use it.

For a real example, read my workday time-management audit. Once you see the pattern, use the Ideal Month Spreadsheet to plan what comes next.
